• SureWerx� Sellstrom� Modified 290 Series Welding Helmet was originally designed for shipbuilding applications including submarine work This helmet has since proven effective for other tight/confined space applications. Its patented Sel-Snap lens retention system provides easy loading of filter, cover and protective plates, and comes with standard 2" x 4 1/4" spring loaded positive lock lift front option. Helmet stays 30% cooler with our proprietary SUPER KOOL SILVER COATING and sheds spatter without burning, providing maximum operator comfort and safety. Comes complete with Sellstrom� patented --quick-release- ratchet headgear suspension, with sweatband included (S27001). Meets ANSI Z87.1 standards.
