Stoody® Stoodite® 21-M Cobalt Base Hard Face Alloy Steel Tubular Welding Wire of .045" Dia is ideal for GMAW applications that require high temperature strength. Wire produces deposit featuring self mated anti-galling properties, high temperature hardness and high resistance to cavitation erosion as well as corrosion. It produces crack free deposits up to two layers and can be used in midstream applications involving valves. It finds application in fluid valve seats, tube mill piercing plugs, hot shears, erosion shields and forging dies. It is composed of cobalt base and 96% alloy that contains chromium, tungsten, iron, carbon, manganese, silicon, nickel as well as molybdenum.Features
