Stanley® Maxsteel® Straight Cut Aviation Snip measuring 12 1/2" has forged chrome molybdenum steel cutting blades for added durability. Snip is ideal for cutting aluminum, vinyl siding, screening, cardboard, leather and copper. It has a latch design that allows for a quick single handed operation and has adjustment-free fasteners to prevent loosening of the blades. It can cut up to 18 ga cold-rolled steel or 23 ga stainless-steel. It has serrated cutting blades to provide a sturdy bite and prevents material from slipping. It has yellow handles to provide a slip-resistant bi-material grip for comfort and control. It meets or exceed ANSI standards.
