With a high-quality aluminum oxide grain, this Merit Surface Prep AO fine grit non-woven hook and loop disc delivers up to 20 percent better cut rate and 50 percent superior performance than the competition. The tough nylon scrim is bonded to high-loft nylon fiber with a thick layer of resin and grain, giving the disc stiffness and longevity, and the Clean Bond technology reduces loading on soft metals and offers a smear-free finish even on high-nickel alloys. This disc is an excellent choice for finalizing the surfaces of hard and soft steels, composites, super alloys, soft metals and titanium.Applications
