Prime your surfaces for paint with this Merit A/O coarse grit TS (Type II) non-woven quick-change buffing disc. The special construction buffs away oxidation and rust without burning or causing damage to the base metal. Each disc is made with laminated non-woven nylon fibers that are resistant to tearing, even when you're working with rough edges, and the aluminum oxide grain and resin bond combination delivers a smooth cut-rate and smear-free finish on most soft metals, including cast iron, titanium, carbon steel, and copper.
