Lincoln® SHS® 9700U Flux-cored Self-Shielded (FCAW-S) Wire is an iron based steel alloy which features exceptional resistance to abrasion, corrosion resistance, erosion, impact and high temperature oxidation. Designed to be used for severe sliding abrasion accompanied by low or moderate impact.Features

- Deposit is limited to two layers
- Lower cost while maintaining near nanoscale (submicron) microstructure
- Improved impact resistance results from complex boron carbide phases surrounded by ductile phases that form during welding
