SelectWear 420-S Plus is a martensitic stainless steel metal cored electrode designed for surfacing with the submerged arc process. It has higher carbon and chromium compared with standard 420-S for added wear resistance. It can be used on the lower segments of continuous casters as well as other roll applications. A neutral flux should be used.
