ER4643 Aluminum TIG Welding Rod comes in a 10 lb box and renders magnificent corrosion resistance in the weld zone as well as heat affected regions. Welding rod is a perfect choice for brazing type applications on thin sections where dilution ratios are low. Welding rod has same weld cracking characteristics flow pre-cleaning weldability and machine settings as of 4043 alloy. Welding rod is ideally used for welding heavy sections of certain aluminum alloys when multiple weld passes are required and dilution of the base metal into the puddle is negligible.Applications
