Item Details
Hobart® E7018-A1 H4R Hoballoy® 7018A1 Low Alloy Steel Electrode with 3/32" Dia uses AC or DCEP (Direct Current Electrode Positive) and is recommended for use in pressure vessels, tubing, piping, boiler maintenance and construction. It features low hydrogen, less than 4 ml/100 g that has resistance to moisture reabsorption which helps prevent hydrogen cracking and aids in elimination of starting porosity. Electrode offers good arc characteristics producing a stable, easy to control arc and features low spatter level that improves weld bead appearance, higher deposition. Quick and easy slag removal helps in reducing clean-up time. The coating is specially formulated to resist moisture pick-up of high heat and humidity. This is an outstanding welding electrode for welding the 0.50% molybdenum steel and other low alloy steels. It is definitely a preferred product with high operator appeal. Electrode measuring 14" comes in a hermetically sealed container of 50 lb.Features
