ESAB® AtomArc® E8018-B2 H4R 8018-CM Low Alloy Steel Electrode with 5/32" Dia contains 1.25% Cr and 0.5% Mo as alloy addition. It is perfect for the welding steels such as 1/2% Cr - 1/2% Mo, 1% Cr - 1/2% Mo, 1 1/4% Cr - 1/2% Mo. It is mainly used in power piping and boiler work for the fabrication of plates, pipes, tubes, castings and forgings. The improved coating offers an extra degree of reliability for electrodes exposed to high humidity environments and resists moisture pick-up in opened containers. Electrode weighs 50 lb and comes in a hermetically sealed container.
