STOODY® XHC 3/16" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb box and has an extruded graphitic coating containing the alloying elements. Electrode is ideal for grader blades, harrow plows and slurry pipe. Electrode bonds well to manganese, carbon and alloy steels and are perfect choice for hard facing on cast iron. Deposits are highly resistant to both sliding and grinding abrasion. It is designed to work with a current rating of +/-100 - 150 A. It works on AC or DC, either polarity using stringer or weave beads. In addition to its great weldability It has a very high deposition rate and good out of position characteristics. Deposits are not machinable or forgeable.
