Hobart® 14A Mild Steel Electrode is an all-position versatile iron powder electrode rutile base that enhances welder-appeal along with deposition rate and travel speed by providing smooth, stable, easily governable arc along with good weld bead appearance and is ideal for single or multiple pass, all Position AC, DCEN, DCEP. 5/32" Electrode provides accurate welds in flat, horizontal, vertical as well as overhead positions and is employed in various applications like frames, heavy sheet metal and machine bases. Electrode comes with a slag design that makes removal, cleaning easier and has a strength of 79000 psi and yield strength of 68100 psi. Electrode is sold as a 50 lb carton.
