voestalpine BÃ¶hler Welding 308LSi/MVRSi Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire features increased silicon content of 0.85% which enhances the fluidity of the melt pool with a minimal splash and porosity. 10# Spool wire is vacuum-packed to protect against moisture as well as humidity and is designed for welding austenitic stainless steel type 19 Cr 10 Ni while ensures polished weld surface. It of 0.045" Dia is ideal for welding titanium/niobium stabilized steels such as ASTM 321/ASTM 347 in cases where the construction will be performing at temperatures not crossing 400 deg. Wire with high silicone content does not increase the liability of hot cracking and most slag peels off without chipping and hence increasing productivity.
