This aluminum bronze A1 GMAW (MIG) wire is designed for weld overlays on shafts, propellers, housings, couplings, bushings, valve seats, pumps and other surfaces needing a bronze wearing surface. It is iron-free and is often used to protect parts exposed to salt water and certain acidic conditions. A1 aluminum bronze is not recommended for joining.
