Klein Tools® 8" Side-Cutting Insulated Heavy-Duty Long-Nose Pliers are made of tool steel for durability and feature induction-hardened cutting knives for long life. Long-nose pliers feature integral guards to prevent hand contact with conductive parts and heavier design for easier more comfortable cutting. They have two layers of insulation to provide protection against electric shock and come with extended handles to provide added reach leverage. They have thick tough high-dielectric white inner coating that is bonded to the tool and are flame-retardant impact-resistant. They are individually tested to exceed the IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505 standards for insulated tools and are clearly marked with the official 1000 V rating symbol.
