Bosch 12" RapidFeed™ Daredevil™ Spade Bit Straight Extension features 1/4" hex shank with full-cone threaded tip wood-screw and power groove to reduce slippage. It drills 2.4 times faster with aggressive cutting edges that has increased angle to cut and offers less overhead application. Spade bit has cutting spurs on the edge of the bit for a cleaner, smoother hole with reduced splintering and less breakout at the back of the material. It can be used on hardwoods, composites, treated lumber and railroad ties and is used by plumbers, electricians and HVAC contractors.Features
- Agressive cutting edges are specially designed with an increased angle to cut at the rapid speed the bit is being pulled through the wood resulting in a clean, fast cut.
- Cutting spurs on the edge of the bit score the outer edge of the hole before the cutting edge removes the material. The result is a cleaner, smoother hole with reduced splintering and less breakout at the back of the material.
- All 6" spade bits have 1/4" shank.
