Drillco Series 1000EF 13/16" Dia X 6" Black/Gold Finish General purpose Jobber Length S and D Drill Bit with 1/2" Dia and 2 1/4" reduced/3-flat shank is made of high-speed steel that provides long durability when drilling hard materials. Drill bit with 3" spiral flute has a 135 deg split point that helps to penetrate hard materials without a pilot hole and forms small chips to reduce clogging. It is suitable for drilling tough, high-tensile strength materials and it increases the hardness of the drill bit for additional wear resistance. It features a shank that is smaller in diameter than its shaft and a shorter length than other reduced shank, permitting portable drilling with a 1/2" drill chuck.
