Item Details

Equip your right-angle grinder with the BlueFire® ZC ZA/SC Type 27 foundry grinding wheel. The perfect solution for stock removal on cast iron, 400 series stainless, hard and soft carbon steels, and gray iron, this wheel combines a zirconia alumina abrasive with a premium silicon carbide grain, so it lasts two to three times longer than aluminum oxide wheels. Featuring a thick, depressed center, the wheel is suitable for both light and heavy grinding when used at a 30-degree angle. The tough material even withstands tough jobs, such as smoothing parting lines and slag.

Features

  • A blend of the most advanced zirconia alumina abrasive with premium silicon carbide grain for 2-3 times the life of aluminum oxide wheels
  • 1/4 inch thick depressed center wheel designed to be used at a 30 degree angle on a right angle grinder for light- to heavy-duty grinding on the bottom/face of the wheel
  • Designed and reinforced for aggressive foundry applications like cleaning parting lines, pads, and slag
  • Excellent blend of performance and price on a wide range of materials, including 400 series stainless, hard carbon steels, and soft carbon steels
  • All wheels are fully speed tested and comply with ANSI standards
